Macdonald Valley Family Day Care Centre operates within the school grounds on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8.30am-3.30pm.
A gap was recognised in local child care options and the Family Day Care centre was opened up in the old school house. The Centre is able to care for 5 children from 0-5 years old and shares some of the wonderful facilities and events in the school grounds.
The core hours are 8:30am–3:30pm, with the option for before and after school care available.
Macdonald Valley Family Day Care is a place for children to interact and play together in a nurturing environment, with a program to suit individual needs.
Children benefit substantially from growing up in a rural community, with increased space, promotion of outdoor creativity and a reduced need for technology.
In our family day care centre children are encouraged to explore the outdoor environment and strong friendships are formed from the group interactions together.
